I teach Commercial Law at the University of NSW South Wales Law School, where I am an Adjunct Associate Professor. (I have also taught Contracts, Commercial Finance Law, Evidence, International Peacemaking and International Humanitarian Law). A short video prepared for contract law students can be seen here.

For 7 years I served the NSW Government on the Board of Multicultural NSW (previously known as the Community Relations Commission for a multicultural NSW). I also serve on the External Advisory Board of the Macquarie University Faculty of Business and Economics.

In October 2023, I was interviewed by the Australian Financial Review in connection with Antisemitism being experienced in Sydney. See: "How Aussie Jewish barristers banded together after Hamas attacks"

In 2016 I gave a paper about "Protecting Religious Freedom and Places of Worship - The example of the Eruv", at the Religious Liberty Conference, 'Varieties of Diversity', hosted by Notre Dame School of Law, Sydney, Australia. It was subsequently published in the September 2017 issue of Solidarity: The Journal of Catholic Social Thought and Religious Ethics, a copy of which is available here.

At the FECCA 2015 National Biennial Conference I gave an address entitled: "40 Years of the Racial Discrimination Act Are We Still Protected?"

Also, at the 2015 B'nai Brith Human Rights address, I spoke on "How to combat terrorism without infringing human rights."

In 2011, I was chosen as one of "40 Inspirational Alumni" featured for the 40th Anniversary of the UNSW Law School, and in 2010 I was made a Member (AM) in the General Division of the Order of Australia for service to the Jewish community through a range of peak, religious and educational organisations, and to the promotion of interfaith relations.

An opinion piece entitled: "Race hate is so much more than words can say" was published in the Sydney Morning Herald on 29 April 2009, and can be viewed here.

My essay on Faith Conflict and Society was published in the 50th Anniversary edition of Quadrant Magazine (October 2006).
